Registration data: Tax Practitioners Board register on data.gov.au, file tpb-public-register-19-10-2026-6-52-37-am.xlsx (dated 19 Oct 2026), licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. Registration checked on 20 October 2026.

Contains data from the Tax Practitioners Board register, data.gov.au, CC BY 4.0. We changed the data by filtering, reformatting names and grouping by state and suburb. The TPB does not endorse this site.

Directory listings: 60,017 tax agents and BAS agents with status “Registered” or “Registered – renewal application lodged” and a business address in an Australian state or territory. Not listed as pages: 3,529 registrations that are not current and 4,468 current registrations with no published business address; both appear only in the registration check. The bulk file has no conditions, sanctions detail, phone, email or website; see the official TPB register.

Freshness

The TPB updates its online register continuously and publishes the open-data file periodically. Our pages show the file date (19 Oct 2026) and the date we checked it (20 Oct 2026); a status can change in between refreshes.

ASIC registers

ASIC Registered Auditor, SMSF Auditor and Liquidator datasets on data.gov.au (dated 16 Oct 2026), licensed under CC BY 3.0 AU. Contains ASIC registered auditor, SMSF auditor and liquidator data, data.gov.au, CC BY 3.0 AU. We show an ASIC registration on a listing only when the full name and postcode match exactly one ASIC entry and no other TPB registration shares them (1,743 SMSF auditor, 174 company auditor and 1 liquidator matches). ASIC does not endorse this site.

Areas

“Greater” city areas and BAS city pages are approximated by postcode ranges. Suburbs with 5 or more listed agents get their own page; smaller ones are grouped per state.
